Each year the Arizona Art Education Association recognizes those who have gone above and beyond in their service to the field of Art Education.
Jodi Biasiucci has been named the Arizona Art Education Association 2024 Outstanding Elementary Art Educator. Throughout her time in our district, she has shown a remarkable commitment to the art and craft of teaching. Her creativity helps students push the boundaries to create innovative projects that align to our standards-based curriculum. She constantly collaborates with teachers to support them in their work in the classroom. In addition to her academic alignment, she also provides additional times for students to complete projects before and after school and during lunch. Jodi's vision, organizational skills, and dedication to promoting the arts led to the Night of Creativity planned in tandem with second grade teachers to celebrate student’s artistic skills and talents with families and the community. She consistently demonstrates exceptional talent, dedication, and leadership in the field of art education.
