With a focus on fostering critical thinking, creativity, content expertise, and civic literacy, LHUSD continuously refines and develops curriculum that not only meets academic standards but also inspires a lifelong love of learning. Through collaboration with teachers, administrators, and community stakeholders, LHUSD strives to empower every student with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in an ever-evolving world.

Textbook Adoption

Lake Havasu Unified School District aims to provide a coherent, content-rich, guaranteed, and viable curriculum for all students. 

We engage with educators, family, students, community, and the school board to collaboratively adopt curriculum.  View policy 5-207 for details.

There will be two public stakeholder meetings held for the purpose of recommending resources that provide a best fit for the needs of our students in this community. 

The recommendations made by this committee will be relayed to our LHUSD governing board in the spring for approval.

Math & YOU sparks curiosity and encourages students to make instructional connections that enhance their deeper-level understanding of mathematics and its relevance, preparing them for success in the future. The program's conceptual framework, combined with a focus on math in everyday life and careers, creates passionate mathematics students engaged in their own learning journey.
